This is the "Build your first train" page. Here you learn how to build a train in Locomotion.

To begin building a train you first have to open the trainbuilding menu. To do that, click on the button with a train and hoisting crane on it (see below).

Once you've clicked on that button you'll see the trainbuilding menu (see below). Now choose a train ans click on it.

Once you've done that you'l see a train screen with just a train in it (see below).

Of course without wagons the train is useless. To build wagons (see below) scroll down and then also click on them.

Now in my case I wanted to freight coal. But when you select a wagon, allways check if the wagon can freight the goods that you want to freight. You can see that by capacity (see above).
Now you've got a train but it still isn't working to do that, place it on the track you've just build. That you can do by clicking on the train in the train screen (see below). And then just place it somewhere on the track (see below) (the track must be large enough or the train won't fit and there can't be another train on the track.

Now you've got a train on the track, but it still isn't running properly. You have to give the train orders before it does so. To do click on the button with the arrows in it in trainscreen (see below).

Once you've done that click on the station where you wan't the train to go (see below).

Once you've done that you'll see that the train has an order between
--Local-- and --End of route list-- (see below). To let the train wait for a full load hold down the button with the plus mark on it and select the cargo that you wan't the train to collect. To unload do the same.

(Of course you need at least two stations.) When you are done giving the train orders, you can let it drive to do so go back to the main screen and click on the red flag (see above), which will now turn green.

Now you know how to build a train. you are now done learning the beginner's tutorials. To go back to the main screen click here, or you can also read this tutorial again, then click here.
