With my great interest of trains, I always liked Transport Tycoon. After I discovered the patch and DBSet, I started drawing train sprites of trains of the Netherlands. After I drew a great amount of trains, I asked someone per e-mail how to get the train sprites into Transport Tycoon. He said there were already people busy with drawing Dutch trains, and he linked me to the tt-forums. I can't remember whether it was Josef Drexler a.k.a. Patchman who wrote the patch, or Michael Blunck a.k.a. MB who made the DBSet.
When I showed my graphics to Hyronymus and broodje (both were and still are developing the Dutch Trainset), they were enthusiastic. Once I knew how to draw trains, and once I made sprites lots of people liked, I started to like to draw train sprites even more. I opened up the "Request your graphics" topic on tt-forums in hope to get more things to draw, because I didn't know what else I could draw. This resulted in other graphics than trains.
Nowadays I'm involved in a great number of projects: Dutch Trainset, Belgian Trainset, DB-Passenger Set, European Cargo Set, Finnish Trainset, Swiss Trainset and Danish Trainset. Besides that I drew lots of other trains from Sweden, Lithuania, Hungary, Norway and the Czech Republic. For example the Sharknose in the US Set is partially mine.
