1. INTRODUCTION
===============
The Dutch Tram Set is New Graphics Set which adds a great number of both historical and current Dutch trams to TTDPatch or OpenTTD.

This set is aimed to give an historical overview of Dutch trams while ensuring quality gameplay through customized statistics.

4. RV-ID
========
RV-ID:R:C

This set complies to the Road Vehicle ID Recommendation.
This set uses all Tram Slots.
This set is compatible with the default road vehicles.

5. INSTALLATION
===============
> DOS or Windows Version? It Is Not About Your Operating System!

You can tell by looking at the filename of TTD's original graphics. trg1.grf indicates the DOS version, while trg1r.grf indicates the Windows version. Depending on that fact, you need either the DOS version or the Windows version of the Dutch Tram Set.
    DOS Version:   nltrams.grf
Windows Version:   DutchTramSetW.grf

> TTDPatch Installation

Copy the grf file to to your TTDPatch\newgrf directory. Create the directory if it doesn't exist already.
After that, open newgrf.cfg (in case of DOS version) or newgrfw.cfg (in case of Windows version) using Notepad or your favourite plain text editor. Add 'newgrf\nltrams.grf' or 'newgrf\DutchTramSetW.grf' on a new line (without quotes) and save the changes you made. Start TTDPatch and you're ready to go.

> TTDPatch Settings

Please make sure to set the following in your ttdpatch.cfg:
- articulatedrvs on
- curves xxxn, where x is the number of your choise, and n not equal to 3
- mountains xxxn, where x is the number of your choise, and n not equal to 3
- newrvs on
- shortrvs on
- trams on

> OpenTTD Installation

Copy the grf file to to your OpenTTD\data\newgrf directory. Create the directory if it doesn't exist already (yes, you could drop it right in OpenTTD\data, but it's good practise to keep the default and custom graphic files apart). Start OpenTTD and click NewGRF Settings in the title screen. Click the Add button, select 'Dutch Tram Set' and click Add to selection. Close the NewGRF Settings window. That's it.

6. COMPATIBILITY AND PARAMETER SETTINGS
=======================================
The Dutch Tram Set is natively compatible with George's Long Vehicles v4 and will automatically adapt to LV4's alternate base cost multiplier settings. In case detection of LV4 fails, you can force the alternate base cost multiplier settings by setting the parameter to value 1.

Parameter value 1 can also be used in case of another road vehicle set which uses the following base cost multiplier settings:
* road vehicle purchase: multiplier 8 (action 0 feature 08 ID 12 property 08 value 0B).
* road vehicle running costs:  multiplier 8 (action 0 feature 08 ID 2E property 08 value 0B).
