Official Competition Rules (Boring legal ramble not worthy of your attention, but included for purists anyway) 

Name
1. 	The competition will hereto be referred to as "TTD Graphics Competition" or any similar derivation thereof. Creators 		of other threads and/or posts should be careful not to create a post that could create confusion. 

The Competition 
2. 	The competition is split into monthly events. 
2.1 	Entries will take place in the first half of the calender month and voting will take place in the second half of the 		same month. 
2.2 	The winner is announced on the first day of the next calender month. 
2.3 	The winner is determined as the entry with the highest number of votes at the end of the voting period. 
2.3.i. 	In the event of a tie, a shared victory will be announced. 

Entries 
3. 	Entrants must submit their entry to the organiser of the competition by either forum Private Message or electronic 		mail. The address for the latter is found in the competition procedures. 
3.1 	All entries made that do not arrive via the aforementioned methods will be disregarded and removed. 
3.2 	There is a maximum limit of 10 (TEN) entries per month. 
3.2.i. 	Any entries made after the tenth entry is made will be ignored and will NOT automatically be entered for next month's 	competition. 

Ownership and Copyright 
4. 	All entries MUST be the exclusive ownership of the graphic artist in question. 
4.2 	The following exemptions apply to the above rule: 
4.2.i. 	Where a pair or group of artists submit an entry together, using one member of the group as the main communicator. 
4.2.ii. Where the EXPRESS permission of the author is DEMONSTRATED EXPLICITLY along with the entry. 

Specific Entry Requirements 
5. 	Entrants are reminded that their entries can be of any particular graphical object, provided that it is 8bpp. 
5.1 	32bpp entries are STRICTLY not allowed. 

Deadlines 
6. 	All deadlines are midnight UTC (GMT). 

Other 
7. 	The organiser's decision is final.
